In Norse mythology, Valhalla ('hall of the slain') is a majestic, enormous drinking hall for the warriors who died in battle. Only heroes chosen specifically by Odin himself can enter and live in happy revelry feasting and drinking mead that never runs out. It's kind of Norse heaven. Follow us on @_valhallabars_
Myself and my business partners Dan (@bluetiledlounge) and Josh (@joshflower_1) took this concept of heaven in a bar, and created what we thought would mirror this revelling and magical place of plenty. Valhalla Bars is born!
We made Valhalla from scratch out in the Devon countryside. We decided we didn't want to compromise on quality, and so many of our finishing touches are with oak, gold leaf flaked epoxy resin bar tops, real leather sofas etc. The bar looks fantastic. My love of styling played heavily on the aesthetic of the bar - making it perfect for weddings or events which need a bit of added sparkle or fun.
We are scalable, which means we can serve festivals of 20,000 people over 4 days, a wedding bash of 150 people or a gallery opening of 50. We are completely self contained and can work without running water, in a field, or wherever you may need cocktails or cider! We can also set up indoors wherever your venue has space should they not have a bar themselves. A full service bar specialising in delicious cocktails, the menu of which can be personalised to you or your event.
Did I mention Vanquish the Unicorn? I took an old, vintage carousel horse and transformed him into a beautiful full sized mirror-balled unicorn! He's certainly the show stopper piece and is available to hire for any event or wedding.

The absolutely sensational @yetivince from Yeti Photography was kind enough to pop along and take these fab images for us before Hijack the Castle festival at Powderham in September 2019. We set up in a stretch tent for this event and know lots of people in the events world should you be keen to have a festival wedding and are looking for a stretch tent too.

Elisabeth Shell Events also can construct fairy light and foliage installations, and have many wedding hire items to choose from for your table centrepieces and any styled display tables (e.g guest book, cake table etc) Cakes also look fantastic on barrels!!
