We thought we’d delve a little further into the difference between a wedding planner and a wedding coordinator – and why you might need one, but not the other. Wedding Planner
When we put our wedding planning hats on, it means we’re with you from the get-go. We leave no stone unturned, from the styling elements through to supplier sourcing, budget management and the logistical side of things. Our job is only done after the very last guest has left after your celebrations! Every detail of your big day is taken care of, including venue tours, timelines, floor plans, contracts – you name it, we’ve got it covered.
How do you know if this is the service for you? We hear you ask! Our full wedding planning service is designed for couples who have very limited time on their hands, are feeling a little clueless as to where to start or quite simply, want someone else to take the reins!

Wedding Coordinator
When we swap to our wedding coordinator hats, we work on a much shorter timescale and focus even more on the logistical areas of your celebration. This usually begins a month or so before your special day, where you’ll have contact in the lead-up and then a designated coordinator managing the day itself. As your wedding coordinators, our team at Elisabeth Shell Events will confirm all supplier contracts, create schedules, work out timelines, as well as making sure the set-up is all planned to perfection.
Hiring a wedding coordinator means you can relax and bask in the romance of your big day, without a worry in the world. You’re free to enjoy your wedding, knowing that everything has been taken care of!
This service is designed for couples who have ticked most things off their wedding to-do-list and just want a helping hand with the last-minute details.
